Rumor Mill: Discounted Video Games at Closing Circuit City Stores

In these times of financial crisis, Circuit City – the second largest consumer electronics chanin in the US – will be closing its doors at 155 locations and putting thousands of people out of jobs. As is usual for the course of human life, one person’s detriment is another’s good fortune.
Rumor has it that Circuit City will be putting out huge sales in an effort to liquidate the merchandise.
Here’s what you can expect to find:
- 5% off on all consoles and console games
- 10% off game accessories
- 10% off on social games likes Guitar Hero
- 10% off on PC games
- 20% off on strategy guides
It’s likely that these percentages will climb as the initial rush dies out and the need to get rid of what’s left gets closer, but with the Holidays right around the corner, it’s probably a good idea to get in quickly to get the best stuff at the discounted price.
