Rumor Mill: Netflix for PS3 and Wii

There’s some really good news spinning around in the rumor mill: Netflix might be headed for both the PlayStation 3 and the Wii. For those of you wishin’ and hopin’ and prayin’ for this day to come, well … it’s not here yet, but the rumor force is strong with that one.

Here’s why: New surveys from Netflix have been been traveling through the place where such things travel, and customers were asked whether they wanted the service to become available for both the PS3 and Wii. The service would require a “Netflix Instant Streaming Disc” woth $9.99 USD.

So this could point to potentially good news for PS3 and Wii owners. Xbox 360 owners get to sit back and cackle madly from their lair of superiority, since they’ve had this service availablef or a while. Lucky bastards souls.
