Rumor Mill: Next Tomb Raider to Feature Younger Lara Croft?

The rumor mill continues to spin and we return to the land of Tomb Raider, where website 4PlayerCo-op revealed some interesting and potentially true rumors regarding the next game in the franchise. The site got hold of some artwork from developer Crystal Dynamics that allegedly belong to the next Tomb Raider game. Since then, the legal department at Crystal Dynamics has asked that these images be removed, so one can assume there’s more than a little bit of authenticity to them.
Going by the artwork, we learn that the next Tomb Raider will feature a younger, fresher Lara Croft, and the storyline will revolve around our heroine’s early life.
Undoubtedly, new and official details will surely surface soon enough, and there’s no doubt that more news will leak from above. What remains unclear is whether this new, younger Lara Croft will be enough to revive the franchise’s popularity.
