Rumor Mill: Xbox 360 Blu-Ray Player Coming by May?

Take this piece of news with a grain of salt, but it all seems inevitable anyway, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it were true. According to an Australian technology magazine, “insiders at Microsoft” revealed that the company has already configured standalone Blu-ray player that is compatible with the Xbox 360.
The player could hit stores anywhere within the next three months. While there’s no official word on this, Microsoft did state at CES that they were prepared to adopt Blu-ray as the dominant HD format, so it’s more than likely that this Blu-ray player has been in the works since the PS3 hit shelves, and the first hints of HD-DVD’s demise began to appear.
