Rumored E-bullion Having Problems. Any E-bullion Users?

(Digital Money World) I haven’t touched mine since a huge chunky years ago after dabbling with DXinOne.

Has anyone has problems with their E-bullion accounts or at least contacting their support? I was reading a thread in Dream Team Money about E-bullion having a huge ruckus and might be in trouble.

Withdraw all your money from your e-bullion accounts!
Be as fast as possible! Because e-bullion is trying to get all the money in all the accounts.
Notice it is blocking or disabling all the accounts with high amounts of money! And when you call them, no matter which section you are calling, just one same LADY! answers you! Even the recorded sound on the answering machine is her voice! Isn’t it strange?? There is no team any more, there’s only one person who is a cheater!
I have called the office in LA several times, she just makes unusual excuses for keeping the account blocked!
I told her that I will send my documents, she said she couldn’t guarantee to open my account even after sending my documentations!!!
There is no one else to help. You won’t recieve answers to your emails and I can say there is no support any more!
I’m just wondering why should any one still be eager to work with this awful processor???!!

If this is really true, I don’t think money can be withdrawn that easily. Anyone can confirm this?

  1. Withheld says:

E-bullion’s policy is to block an account until it is verified (see their TOS agreement). It is amazing you would copy and paste a post of a HYIP forum as if it holds credibility.

  2. Benson says:

Though its from an HYIP forum, I’d just like to clear things up. Its an opinion blog entry that would like to ask current EB users what’s going on.

I’ve been a fan of EB and never been skeptical of EB’s model. Just that it’s pretty shortcoming since it’s still a US company that still had chances with the Feds.

Its amazing how any discussion on e payment companies always causes hysteria on the part of those who swear theirs is super clean¨¨I dont know, Im just discussing an opinion on the alarmist negative chatter out there on the net. There are more than ” one” who have struggled to get their money. If you are happy, then hey, “Im happy too. Its not beyond the realms of possibility that liquidity issues exsist. The big banks sometimes have had problems too, and so this is nothing more than an unregulated form of money holding or “banking”. It is wide open to money laundering thats for sure. As mentioned I have also discussed people having problems getting pay pal payments too, although I personally havent had issues with them. There will be a crackdown, its only a matter of time.” “where there smoke theres fire” Consider yourself warned.

  4. Well I have no complaint with E-Bullion yet. Although, I am wondering how I can exchange some of my e-bullion for cash without paying such high fees. Every where I look, it is so unreasonable…Then when I do find a place, I can’t get their customer service to return my emails.

  5. Alec Scott says:

I have a problem with e-bullion: I am still awaiting a wire transfer to my bank – requested after hours on 25 July, 2008.

Everything seems to have gone well: even got the almost-immediate e-mail confirming the transfer and showing the debit to my balance.

It is 6 full business days, and I am still waiting for my funds – and the process is supposed to take no more than 5 days to complete.

It’s been impossible to get in contact with anyone: I get the automated answering system that tells me to call back during regular business hours, despite the fact that the call was made during their business hours.

I have just requested a UPS over-night delivery of a check: it should arrive on Wednesday, as this, too, was made after hours today (Monday). Everything seems to have gone correctly. We’ll see.

Glad you’ve had luck, Scott Edwards. I’m moving my funds OUT – if it’s possible.

  6. Steve Hallard says:

Has anyone read that the fed’s took control of all of e-bullion’s assets?
I had a good amount of money in e-bullion. Can anyone suggest who I would contact to inquire about my funds?
Thanks. Any help is appreciated. lapi7@aol.com

  7. Watcher says:

    Hi,

I’ve attempted to reach E-Bullion by phone several times with only a recorded message to listen to. I’ve also sent them an e-mail although the response is likely to come within the system which I cannot access because of a supposedly system update or some such thing. This is bordering on problematic. I do not have a high volume of funds in E-Bullion. I have read that there is a murder charge involved with one of the owners but have no backup except for a blog post on that. It could explain their lack of communication – Note – E-bullion and Goldfingercoin.com I believe are the same company. Again only a phone message at Goldfinger although their website is up whereas E-Bs is not. I have sent an e-mail to their customer service for further information.

  8. David Brown says:

Did not know e-bullion was having such problems.
Just thought it was viable corporation like a bank.
I won’t make that mistake again.
I was in the process of funding my account when they went belly up.
Do you think I will get my funds back???

  9. Janet says:

I am in the same situation, i had a wire transfer on the 4th and 2 days later notices that the website was down and the i went to google and wrote the companys name and big surprise, i don’t know what to do know, i’m desperate to get my money back i don’t know where to go or what to do?

  10. Gondol says:

The owner of e-bullion James Micheal Fayed was charged by the US court for running the exchange business without a licence. It was further worsened as he was also charged for suspected murder of his wife. Some even argue whether there were real gold back up as claimed. Please read The Industry Standard web site.

  11. shintaji says:

I had the misfortune of sending a wire for $5000 to e-bullion on the day of Ms. Fayed’s death. I have additional funds in E-bullion and other programs with no way of getting the funds out. I’m afraid if the Fed’s are involved and if Fayed is indicted we will have a long wait to recover our funds, if we recover them at all. Up until this last wire transfer I have had no problem with E-bullion at all. Everything was paid out on time. E-bullion was much simpler to work with than Liberty Reserve.

  12. SOUNDARARAJAN says:

I am also in the same situation.
If anybody knows what to do to get money back, Please tell me also.

  13. rjmanis says:

Anyone have the phone # for e-bullion to call? I tried to access my funds the day it went off line for maintenance.

  14. Alec Scott says:

The last I heard, James Fayed was being held by the authorities, (seems to be a suspect or person of interest in regard to the murder of his estranged wife); but has petitioned the court, stating that the company cannot function without him, so the court has been alerted to our plight. My friend in banking suggests that the court should be naming an executor fairly soon, although an investigation of their books/accounts prior to that may not be out of the question.

Easiest place to get info – believe it or not – is Wikipedia. As of last week, (if I recall correctly), they were updating their article on e-bullion, and references are given – artcles from The Los Angeles Times. Perhaps an RSS feed from the Los Angeles Times would help. Don’t know a thing about RSS feeds, myself, but someone recommended it to me. (The folks at Wikipedia were right: this company was not beyond the reach of the federal government’s ability to snoop. I’m glad that wasn’t a priority for me!)
