According to the latest whisperings and scurryings on this here Internet, Factor 5 President Julian Eggebrecht is well aware that the control scheme for the dragon-battling game Lair is a pig’s breakfast, and something good may come of this realisation.

“I hope that a lot of people realize that underlying the problem they had with the base control, there actually was a really good game there,” Eggebrecht reportedly told IGN. “That’s at least what I think. If we find a chance in the future that would bring Lair to the audience which didn’t get any access, that would be fantastic. I can’t say anything quite yet, but there might be something in the works there.”

Yes pls.

Hey Nadia, when they said tweak the controls, does that mean they’ll get rid of the Sixaxis scheme and allow control via the analog sticks?

  2. Nadia says:

No word on how they’ll do it yet, though I’m curious. The Sixaxis control might still be a great idea if they had the time and resources to make it work. Actually, the best idea overall would be a choice between Sixaxis and analog. Choice is good!
