Russell Simmons Talks to Jet Magazine

Russell Simmons recently talked to Jet magazine about his life as a divorced father of two growing girls, Ming Lee, 9, and Aoki Lee, 6.  Of his relationship with his daughters, Simmons says “I am with them as much as possible” (p. 36). 

I can’t explain it but I’ve always found Russell Simmons incredibly interesting.  From his work on Def Comedy Jam to his appearance on MTV’s Cribs (did you see his house?  It’s the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen!).

His ex-wife, Kimora Lee Simmons, recently welcomed a son with her boyfriend, Djimon Hounsou, and Simmons gave them his blessing!  I think a lot of people thought there would be a lot of drama but he surprised them which, again, makes him so intriguing.
