According to the article I came across today, it seems that the current US Figure Skating Champion Sasha Cohen isn’t decided whether she’s going to defend her title in the US Figure Skating Championships, which is just two months away.
“I’ve been keeping my options open and been training to stay in shape,” Cohen said. “But I have not made any new programs.” — The Seattle Times
However.
It’s been said that the 22-year old plans to compete in the 2010 Winter Olympics and in the 2009 World Championships.
Cohen has competed in six US Championships, placed second to Michelle Kwan four times before placing first when Kwan rested due to a hip injury.

I for one hope she decides to defend her title, how could she not?!!
Can’t say I know what you mean cuz, sadly, I don’t. Though, being the reigning champion, she definitely should. I’m speculating that she might not want to risk injury since she’s eyeing the world championships and olympics perhaps?
As I see it Sasha is and will be the best female ice skater EVER.
Her spins and footwork are super.. only those jumps
I am from argentina and I love skating and sasha .. could be the best in the world not?
I think it should be decided and campione .. you deserve it.

she is know as skating’s perennial bridesmaid.
she has won 13 silver medals at major events
the hunt for prefection has kept her from greatness
she is considered one of the most talented skater in the world
but she is still searching for one prefect moment
