Sat.1 HD and ProSieben HD Shut Down until 2010 in Germany

For the Germans reading this, I feel really, really sorry for you. Apparently, Sat.1 HD and ProSieben HD are shutting down their HD streams and going to standard definition until 2010. This is due to the lack of demand for HD, and it’s also just a smaller network than the others in the country. More info is on the clickthrough. May we have a moment of silence for the (temporary) loss of HD channels?
