When compared to the Pontiac Solstice it’s easy to be confused. Although created buy the same company, i.e. GM, there are a world of differences between them. However, instead of making this an essay on GM sports cars this will all be about the Sky.
The Sky Red Line doesn’t have a large engine but then again it won’t need it because at just 2.0L the turbocharge DOHC clocks in at an impressive 260 hp. That means 0-60 in just 5.5sec. With that kind of lightweight mussel the Sky can reach top speeds of up to And because the car and engine are lightweight it is able to get an impressive 19mpg city/28mpg highway. Not bad for a sports car.
Another impressive feature for the Sky Red Line is that the starting price is only $32,525 and with Saturn’s new employment insurance you can rest assure they won’t come to repo your car if you loose your job.

I really like the Sky. It’s like a…like a cool Miata. There is just something about the Solstice that I don’t like. I think it’s the way the front end is all rounded out. This is probably the best looking roadster on the market for the price.
To me the front of the Sky looks like an evil grin. Like the shark teeth they used to paint on the front of WWII planes, this car looks like it’s going to attack you. Very unique design.
