Lypp’s premise is simple, use a conference calling system to bridge between expensive cell networks and other phones for long distance calls on your cell. If you use your mobile phone to make long distance calls, especially internationally, you know how much it can hurt the next month.
I started to use Lypp when they first launched and offered free long-distance and then subscribed to the service when they launched. I need to remember to use it more because when I travel, ouch.
Today Lypp has announced something that should make travelers or anyone who winds up calling long-distance a lot (for example Vancouver and Victoria are long distance to each other)–unlimited long distance in North America for only $60!

It’s so easy … you just use Gtalk or other IM on your phone to tell Lypp to call a number. Then your phone rings with Lypp calling you, then connecting the other person … that’s it. Done.
Because they are a conference call provider and get lower bulk-rate rates for long distance, you can save a ton.
Really, I don’t have much else I can say, expect … well, try it.
$60 buck a month is way too much when you can get distibutel for only $17.95 a month in US and in Canada in Ontario and Quebec (for now). you can call anywhere in US and Canada unlimited and for another $2.00 you can add another phone up to 3. Then for $2.00 more you can get unlimited incoming calls from anyone in Ontario and Quebec to your Celphones free. That means not longdistance charges from incoming call and lots of savings. I think that is the deal of the centry for now until more people start using it and things get cheaper for the cel user as more and more people are getting rid of the home phone like that of Bell and going to Cellular.
Just my opinion. But, saving that hard earned cash in anyway possible means a lot now days!! Big time!!
