Schedule Changes Confuse My Writing

LOL, I’m really laughing at myself this morning. I was going along, checking things off my to do list when I got a call from the clay studio; turns out they don’t need me this morning.

My first reaction was both disappointment and a feeling of relief – relief because I have a ton to do this week and the extra hours are appreciated.

Then I got all confused! Should I work on my bank accounts and record keeping? Well, I did, and got some bills paid. I didn’t know what to do next! Of course, there’s always blogging. But there’s also the work I need to do on my Writing With Vision class and that is going to take some reading. What about my blog series on contract? And then there’s the website I promised to build for my daughter!

You know how it goes, or can if we let it.

Finally, I just took a deep breath, decided on a simple blog entry first, which is this. Then, because there’s a radio show I want to listen to (The Thom Hartmann Program) I’ll fiddle with the website for a bit. Next, I’ll do the reading… and, with any luck, by the end of the day I’ll have accomplished quite a bit.
