Search Engine For One Area

In my previous post, I have talked about a search engine that has been aimed towards African-American individuals. This time, I came across a new search engine and this one is aimed towards a certain place. Known as Nunoogle.com, this search engine has been launched by Daniel Dutton, a businessman, and he says that this is going to help finding sites in Nuneaton and about Nuneaton easier. He also boasted that the site is free for anyone to use.

It is important to note that if you are going to find a department store in Nuneaton, for example, you could type in ‘department store’ in Nunoogle.com and you would be given results about department stores in the area. Dutton says, “Nunoogle gives a higher search ranking to local websites than those with a more national and international appeal.” He also said, “Whilst searching for local information, I was getting fed up with tagging the word ‘Nuneaton’ onto every search I made. I thought that there must be a better way and that was when I came across Google’s Custom Search Technology.”
