Search Engine Specifically For One Race

There has been a time when some friends who were still in the university were complaining that it was hard for them to find information about some stuff they were searching for on the web. The information was actually about some of the country’s local trends and practices, and that can be kind of difficult to find over the internet. Too bad there isn’t any kind of search engine that caters to our race.

However, recently, a new search engine has been launched and it is aimed towards African-American individuals. This search engine is Rushmore Drive and it has been launched by InteractiveCorp. According to the company, they have launched such a search engine so as to be able to assist minority groups and help them find sites that are related to them easily.

This seems promising and can be pretty helpful for those who would be using such a search engine. The problem though is that I believe there would only be quite a few people to use such a search engine. What’s your take on this?
