This weeks episode of The Apprentice proved to be interesting to say the least.
The Task: Each team would send in two negotiators to negotiate for, 4 Broadway plays. The teams would then sell tickets for two hours, to their plays and the team who sells the most wins. Very simple task.
The Project Managers for this task were Vinnie Pastore and Marilu Henner.
The Results: Hydra, Vinnie’s team sold $33,300 worth of tickets and Empresario, Marilu’s team sold $31,757 worth of tickets. The men win again! Wow! In the end Jenny Finch got fired. Was she the one? Should she have been fired?
Closing Thoughts:
I was not impressed with the leadership of either team. And it got me thinking about what Mr. Trump must be looking for from The Celebrity Apprentice. Here are the things I believe he is looking for:
*Strong Leadership
*Strong Networking
*Strong Negotiation Skills
*Strong Sales/Strong Closing Skills
*Strong Creative Problem-Solving
*Confidence
That said, other than Gene Simmons, the other ladies who have been fired did not have these qualities. Jennie Finch had to go this week. Out of her own mouth she said, she could not compete with the strong personalities on the ladies team, Empresario. The six qualities I have listed above are the core competencies I see in the process of elimination this show will continue to go through. Look for these next week when you watch the show.
