Sega Nerds Reviews Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood

I suppose Sega Nerds can be considered a dark brotherhood of my own, since we’re both on b5media. They’re far cooler than my boring ass, though.
For example, they’ve reviewed Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, a long-anticipated Sonic RPG for the Nintendo DS. They even won a contest that let them name an in-game race. Holy poop! My next kid’s going to be President, but that’s still weaksauce compared to what’s been accomplished here.
Anyway, review. According to the Nerds, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood iiiiiiis…average. I probably spoiled as much with that fantastic image of Sonic and Shadow kicking each other in the nuts, something that both our hedgehog friends sorely need.
So what’s the problem with the game? Slow, repetitive battles, tinny music and a “branching question” system that doesn’t let you smack Amy around verbally as much as she deserves it. What’s good? Nice graphics and cutscenes.
The story is also under-realised, but given Sonic’s grand ambitions lately and his illicit love affairs with fleshlings, maybe we should give thanks to God for that.
