Looks like SEGA got the exclusive rights for developing the Official Video Game of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. The agreement entitles SEGA to publish a variety of gaming software based on the Olympic Games.

For those Olympic sports fans, the Official Video Game will feature a wide range of sports including: aquatics, archery, baseball, basketball, boxing, canoe/kayak, cycling, equestrian, fencing, soccer, gymnastics, handball, field hockey, Judo, modern pentathlon, rowing, sailing, shooting, softball, table tennis, Taekwondo, tennis, triathlon, volleyball, weightlifting, and wrestling.

Pretty cool.

The agreement will end in 2009.
