Selfish Regulations By China Are A Huge Road Block To Foreign Gaming Companies

New regulations in China will cause foreign online games and MMOs much harder to penetrate the Chinese market. It means China gives everything best for its local gaming companies while keeping foreign entities at bay. Selfish I guess.
The new regulations give China’s General Administration of Press and Publication (the group responsible for the rating and censorship of games, television, books, etc.) the ability to indefinitely postpone their evaluation (and thus, the public release) of a game if that game’s creators or publisher is currently being “sued or targeted for arbitration” by a Chinese game company. Until the suit or complaint is resolved, the GAPP has the option to eternally delay any title’s release.

China is just trying to protect one of its industries. I think that once game developers there find a better foothold on the lucrative Chinese MMOG market, everything will return to normal.
@Joel
Chinese rules are flexible in a sense if BIG $ is concerned.
Oooh. Much like the way WoW got in?
Just curious, but aside from WoW, what other foreign publishers have managed to get in China?
