Sell Your House, Buy An F-18 Sim
Money to burn? Forget Microsoft Flight Simulator. Clarks Precision Machine and Tool is planning to start selling its F-18E Micro Simulator to consumers and, presumably, GA pilots, for a cool $68,000 each. The company says it expects to sell the units to aviation enthusiasts for joy-riding in their home theaters. The simulator duplicates the Boeing/McDonald Douglas F-18 Hornet, including every instrument, switch, dial, and push button. The Simulator even has a USB PC interface. It’s the same simulator used to train U.S. Navy and Marines.
