When you were young, did you ever have a lemonade stand to make money? Or did you mow the grass of your neighbors so that you could have your own small business? In doing this, you learned early how to market to your customer and help them understand your brand.
This means that you got an early start on selling your brand to your consumers. Understanding how to sell your brand to your consumers is very important so I thought I would share a simple list to help get you started. To help your recall, I’m using the acronym C.O.N.S.U.M.E.R.
- Concetrate – focus on what it will take to make your brand successful with your consumers.
- Orchestrate – find a way to connect your consumers to your brand in a creative way.
- Notify - create press releases that communicate brand so that it can notify your consumers.
- Standardize – make sure that you develop a standard way of communicating your brand to your consumers.
- Understanding – understand what appeals to your consumers when marketing your brand.
- Monitor – assess how your branding is reaching your consumers.
- Engaging – make your brand engaging by encouraging your consumers to interact with you and your product.
- Remember – remember to value your brand and not to sell yourself short.
As you reach out to your consumers by selling them on your brand then this simple list should help you get focused and stay on target. One of the ways that you can work on selling your brand is incorporating the philosophy of “The One Minute Entrepreneur” into your business as explained by Ken Blanchard below.
