Senior Bowl 2008 Schedule – Got some free time?

It’s officially Senior Bowl time again, and if you have some free time (and live in Alabama), you should stop by to watch some of the events. There’s tons of free stuff to do! Here’s a look at the 2008 schedule for the rest of the week:
Tomorrow (Tuesday):
9:30 – 11:00 a.m. North Team Practice – Ladd-Peebles Stadium
1:45 – 3:15 p.m. South Team Practice – Ladd-Peebles Stadium
6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Quarterback Club Reception (invitation required)
Wednesday:
9:30 – 11:00 a.m. North Team Practice – Ladd-Peebles Stadium
1:45 – 3:15 p.m. South Team Practice – Ladd-Peebles Stadium
6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Annual Seafood Jubilee (invitation required)
6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Chick-fil-A Senior Bowl Fellowship of Christian Athletes Rally – Mobile Convention Center
Thursday:
9:30 – 11:00 a.m. North Team Practice – Ladd-Peebles Stadium
1:45 – 3:15 p.m. South Team Practice – Ladd-Peebles Stadium
Friday:
9:30 – 10:30 a.m. North Team Practice – Ladd-Peebles Stadium
10:30 – 11:30 a.m. South Team Practice – Ladd-Peebles Stadium
1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Senior Bowl Players Visit Children’s Ward at the University of South Alabama Children’s and Women’s Hospital
3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Food World Senior Bowl Fan Frenzy – Mobile Convention Center
3:30 – 6:30 p.m. Coca-Cola Meet the Players – Mobile Convention Center
6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Senior Bowl Hall of Fame Induction Reception – (invitation required)
Saturday:
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Baumhower’s Wings Restaurant Senior Bowl Tailgate Challenge – Ladd-Peebles Stadium Parking Lot
12:00 – 3:00 p.m. Food World Tailgate Party – Ladd-Peebles Stadium
2:30 p.m. Senior Bowl 2008 Pre-Game Show, presented by State Farm Insurance.
3:00 p.m. Kickoff, 59th Annual Under Armour Senior Bowl
Your best best for a good time is the “meet the players” event on Friday, which is totally free. Tickets for the game itself are only $12-24…which is a steal to see some great talent. If you go, take pictures – and let me know how it was. I’ll be here in Pennsylvania. You know, freezing my ass off.
