i’m about as liberal as they come, but i am deeply disturbed by the imbalance in male/female flesh exposure in our society. children see these establishments (and “family friendly” places like hooter’s) and the take home message is boys get to grow up and pay to objectify girls and girls get to grow up and be paid to be objectified. this is a huuuuuge problem in our society, and goes to the heart of what’s wrong with capitalism. sure, there are a handful of (young and not yet wise) women out there who are into it, who just see it as an easy way to make cash, but it creates a culture where ALL women have to hypersexualize their appearance in order to compete. and what happens when you hit thirty and are no longer “marketable”? fucked up…

Its not true that the baristas are now wearing bikinis I have 2 stands by my house and they wear electrical tape and thongs. plus they are out side of the stand as soon as the sun is shining.. ussually dancing around or one time the barista stuck her bottom out the window and pulled her thong up her but so far you could see her vag. But i guess thats ok.. now there is one right in front of my daughters pre school.. same parking lot and they are out side hopping in and out of cars. Nice..
