Big Baby

Shaun Rogers is going to miss four or five games. Shaun Cody is out with a dislocated big toe. Without the Shaun’s, the Lions can’t stop the rush.

Funny, this happens right after a nameless reporter wrote that Shaun ‘Big Baby’ Rogers was not giving it his all. That he could be a leader and make the difference.

Now we found out he Dexatrimed himself out of the middle of the line in the middle of the season trying to get rid of his middle. In the middle of that sentence, your intrepid author wondered if Shaun… won’t have to toe the Marinelli way or be dealt away.

You see, the margin of error for the Detroit Lions is very small. The talent is just not there. That is where a few key players and a strong team concept brought by Marinelli can make all the difference.

The Jets game was a 1 touchdown loss in a game where every time the Jets needed a first down they could go right up the middle where the Shaun’s normally make their living. Oh, there is that word middle again.

NFL Football Fan Question Will Shaun come back all fired up? You know he is being scoped to fix a knee while he is out. Will the return of the Shaun’s be in time to get some respect for the Lions?
