Shaun Tait too quick for New Zealand

I know, I know, you can’t judge someone’s action simply from ordinary observation, but just take a look at this video. No trace of chucking, IMO. What is the power of Vettori’s specs, again?

I agree with you Dinnie… I don’t think he chucks at all… they simply got blown away by the pace… 3 guys who can bowl at 150s… was too much for them to handle.
Funny, Scorp, you commented on Tait and did not say a word on Murali’s post.
Ah! Dinnie… To be honest, am actually quite tired on the Murali’s chucking issue… as in had posted about it on my blog on him becoming the top bowler and also JR, SP, Otts all had a raging debate on their blogs about the same subject a week back, where each one of us were at full throat on this issue. The verdict from all these discussions was people will consider always him a chucker even though his action falls under the new hyper-extension amendment rule change… though personally, my thoughts are he doesn’t cheat… he has a bent elbow and he is not deliberately bending it… the ICC with all the asian power house arm twisting and lobbying for him changed the rules… so in my opinion, I would abuse the ICC and the asian boards as cheats, rather than picking on Murali.
Cheers
Uncle Jrod had also an interesting video with a doc explaining murali’s physical disability… you might find want to check that out… that kind of confirmed my beliefs.
No problem. I was just kidding.
I think I remember Ottayan posting a video of that sorts– some ladies toying around with a piece of skeleton and explaining Murali’s deformity.
Yep. Gotcha. ;)
oh.. you are right… that’s from ottayan’s blog :)… sorry Otts.
Dinnie agree with you here he doesn’t chuck it. In what is becoming a fairly boring summer of cricket (unless Australia bat first) Shaun Tait is a player that I would turn on the TV to watch, He is one of those frightening bowlers that is great to see. Lets hope he plays in the Boxing Day Test.
