I’m so thrilled!  Male gymnast, Kyle Shewfelt, is one of the six men who have been chosen to represent Canada at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.  This is incredible news since he has been recovering from a major injury but appeared to be in top form on Monday during a test competition in Calgary.

The team will be rounded out by his fellow Calgarians, Nathan Gafuik, Adam Wong and Grant Golding along with David Kikuchi of Fall River, N.S. and Brandon O’Neill of Edmonton.

This will be Shewfelt’s third trip to the Olympics.  He won the gold medal on the floor exercise at the 2004 Athens Summer Olympics.
