Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash Back for the Holidays

Pepsi-Cola’s (NYSE: PEP) Sierra Mist brand is re-introducing its holiday flavor for the second year in a row. Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash and Sierra Mist Free Cranberry Splash will be available for a limited time during the 2007 holiday season in 20-ounce and 2-liter bottles as well as 12-packs and 12-ounce cans.
Rather than just re-designing the packaging for its existing products like its primary competitor, Coca-Cola (NYSE: KO), Pepsi goes a step further by extending its product line with a special holiday flavor. In fact, the packaging for Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash and Sierra Mist Free Cranberry Splash doesn’t even have a holiday theme. It’s a great concept that must be working since the company is making Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash available again this year.
What do you think of the various holiday packaging and holiday brand extensions launched by consumer products companies? Are there any you particularly like or dislike?

YOU HAVE TO BRING SIERRA MIST CRANBERRY BACK!!!!!! It is the ONLY soda I want! I’m addicted and so is everyone else I know. Now we can’t find it and we’re super bummed. Bring it back!!! Make it year round! We are begging!!! It is the best mix I have ever had the pleasure of tasting.
I also just ran across the Sierra Mist Free Cranberry splash, it is my favorite also, I no longer like the beverages I used to drink after tasting this product. I wish it as available all year.
I am telling you that if this only comes out once per year I am going to start buying it up for the year.

Based on everyone’s responses, I have to try this drink. I haven’t seen it at my local store yet, but I’m on the look out.
If you can’t find it at your local stores, you might want to try emailing Pepsi’s customer service department to ask where you can find it in your area. You might also want to ask the manager at your grocery store if they can order some.
i see them at walmart and safeway mainly. i just found this drink this year and i love it! i guess when the season is over i will have to mix my own version with cranberry and sierra mist

I live in a worthless town in idaho,we have a walmart, a lot of gas stations, and albertson.. We don’t even have siera mist! I will have to travel to utah to find this drink, siera mist is my favorite, considering i only get it every once in a while.. Im on the lookout for it! Sounds like an amazing product.

I can’t find sierra mist free cranberry splash anywhere! I’ve been looking at every store I’ve been in. Someone said they saw it at Target. I’ve been to 5 of them and haven’t been able to find it. I spoke to someone at our local grocery/specialty store. They said that Pepsi ran out of it during the first two weeks… don’t think there will be anymore this year!!! What a mistake Pepsi. Cranberry is the up and coming flavor. Bring it back all year…!
Where is it?? I was served Cranberry Spash at a party a month ago, found one two-liter bottle and now can’t find it anywhere!! I’m bugging Target, Dillons and Walmart to get this wonderful product on their shelves (especially the ‘free’ version)!!

Sierra Mist Free Cranberry Splash is by far the BEST diet soda I’ve ever tasted. Not a hint of “diet” about it. I don’t understand why it’s not available year round. It’s very hard to find even now. HELP Pepsi…get this product to your people!!
I don’t drink pop but when we were over at friends all they had was Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash and WOW, we LOVE it!!! Like I said I don’t drink pop but this I couldn’t get enough of. I have been a Diet Pepsi only drinker for years. Then, my taste buds met Sierra Mist Free Cranberry Splash. I LOVE this soda. It is so refreshing and light. A great taste combination. I was extremely disappointed to hear that it is only marketed during the holiday season. Pepsi, you are definately missing the boat on this one. This is a keeper, and I mean year round. Great straight up or with a shot of your favorite spirit, it needs to be produced and shipped to our local grocers 365 days a year.

Please continue to produce and distribute Sierra Mist Free Cranberry Splash. We have only been able to find it at a local grocer in November, it is an extremely appealing and refreshing beverage and would like to see it available for more than just a few weeks of the year.
I found Sierra Mist Diet Cranberry once and then from then on I have not been able to find it since a week after Thanksgiving. Where is it and can I still by it. I was hoping it would come back out for the Holidays in 2007 along with the Dole Sparkles. Please help us find this great product.

I love Sierra Mist Free Cranberry Splash. My kids even drink it not knowing it’s diet soda. I wish they would keep it all year. It’s a great change from other diet drinks. I was able to find it up unitl 2 weeks ago. Have a few cans left and savoring them with each and every drink.
This is the best soft drink to hit the market in forever – loose the Pepsi Jazz and bring back the Diet Cranberry Splash! I thought I was alone in loving it and not finding it, but sadly, I’m not. BRING IT BACK – AND LOTS OF IT! Mama ain’t happy and if Mama ain’t happy – nobody’s happy!!!

My daughter & I have gone to 9 different grocery stores in search of Cranberry Splash, and we have had no luck. We bought 3 12-pack’s before Thanksgiving and they are all gone. I do not drink much soda myself- but after having this soda- it is the most refreshing soda I have ever tasted. I think this should be available all year round. I plan on calling more stores tomorrow to see if I can find some for New Year’s- hopefully I will have better luck.
Please get sierra mist free cranberry splash back on the shelves asap, not just for christmas? Please pepsi company make it for all year round. They are million of people who want this kind more than any other.
Just wanted to tell eveyone they should try their local Chevron stations and they may have some left over. Also our 7-11 here in Oregon City Oregon still has the slurpee in the Cranberry Sierra Mist! Yeah! They will have it till it runs out.

This is the best product out there for taste. It’s the already great flavor of Sierra Mist coupled with a splash of cranberry. This is the best thing for people like me with kidney disease. We get out cranberry and also great taste. I wish it were available year round.

Anyone up for buying a regular bottle of sierra mist, and pure cranberry not cranberry juice but pure cranberry and trying to find the ratio of pure cranberry to a bottle of regular sierra mist .
