Silly Sunday: Earnings with The Bar?

Videos for programs like The Bar, below, always amuse me a little bit. It never ceases to amaze me how interested we are in making money the easy way. Sure, some people can pull it off. But most of us have to do some work in order to make money. Even if you cash in with a book deal or some great stock gain or even ad revenue from your Web site, chances are that you had to put in a great deal of work beforehand. The big payday doesn’t usually come until after you’ve paid some sort of dues.

But we still like to dream of a way to make money, just by clicking on ads for two minutes a day. And who knows? Maybe the program really does work, and is truly legitimate. Although, some of what is being shown looks an awful like a pyramid scheme. In the end, you have to decide whether you think such programs are a good idea. Or whether the videos merely make a way to amuse yourself for a couple of minutes on a Sunday afternoon.
