Silly Sunday: FTC and Credit Reports

The only officially approved place to get a free credit report each year from each of the three credit bureaus is annualcreditreport.com . In order to help spread the word, the FTC put together these ads spoofing freecreditreport.com. I’m not sure whether it does much more than offer a degree of confusion, but it is kind of funny.
