What do you get when you cross the recession and unemployment? Many people creating startup businesses to bit the recession and unemployment statistics. In today’s economy, one of the solutions that many have found is to start their own business to make ends meet.

So to help you if you are a new business startup, I want to share a few things that you should keep in mind as you develop your business. Remember this is a starter list:

  • Research the industry that you want to start you business in.
  • Develop a strategic business plan that includes room for growth.
  • Take time to determine who your competitors are and see what they are doing to be successful.
  • Keep an open mind when it come to change, because change is constant.
  • Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone in order to make your business successful
  • Network online as well as offline to grow your circle of influence.

Starting with these things will help you build a solid foundation that can be a good base for your business.
