Sims 2 Holiday Edition

Electronic Arts is coming out with a holiday edition of its popular game: Sims 2. This special release will be hitting stores November 17th and may be well worth it to Sims fans everywhere (I know it’s looking mighty nice to me).

So what can you expect to find in the holiday edition? Well according to the official website:

  Get festive and decorate your Sim’s house with Mistletoe, Stockings, Snowmen, Wreaths, Winter-themed Paintings and more! Complete the house exterior with Christmas Lights, Frosted Windows, and Reindeer Lawn Ornaments. Get your Sims into the holiday spirit for Christmas, New Years, Easter, and Halloween.
• Mix Genes:
  Your Sims have DNA and inherit physical and personality traits. Take your Sims through an infinite number of generations as you evolve their family tree.
• Fulfill Dreams:
  Your Sims now have purpose in life. Do they aspire to a life of popularity, fortune, family, knowledge, or romance? The EA people certainly know how to add content to their games, and keep them refreshing. I’ve been enamoured of The Sims since I purchased the original the day after it was first released. Unfortunately, I am entirely horrible at it. My Sims grow to hate me – and each other – in a matter of minutes. It’s quite astounding, really. But, hey, maybe what they need is just a bit of holiday spirit…
