You will receive credit and exposure of your work in the publication schedule to launch Spring 2008.
Please send over your resume with a sample piece on the latest fall trends for this season or a runway review on a designer from this falls season.
Thank you.
* Compensation: no pay
Apparently those in the high end world of fashion journalism haven’t yet realized one gets what one pays for. Indeed these are the types of ads that give me a bit of a giggle. Now that there’s a trend to report on luxury and highend goods, all of the wannabes are coming out of the woodwork. So I ask you, how are writers who aren’t getting paid, able to afford the luxuries they’re asked to report on?
They don’t ask for much do they? A report on the latest fall trends or perhaps a runway review plus regular writing at no charge. In this case high end = ass.
