Six Degrees of Separation: Supermodel Edition

If you read Gossip on Sports fairly often (and we hope you do), you might have noticed that we heart inside jokes and running gags. Even so, we wondered whether or not the Brazilian supermodel theme had overstayed its welcome, not unlike Eric Gagne (pronounced “Gahn-yay”; alternate pronunciation, ”gone yet” . . . As in, “Is he gone yet?”).

After two, possibly three, seconds of deep thought, we decided: No way! We can still squeeze some mileage out of it.

SO: The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show aired last night. We weren’t there, but we did wear VS underthings to show our support. (Get it? Support?).

How, you might be wondering, can we rationalize yet another post on Brazilian supermodels?

The Spice Girls! And the severe-looking woman in any of their group photos is, of course, Victoria Beckham, wife of soccer star David Beckham.

So there you have it, the Six Degrees of Separation: Supermodel Edition. David Beckham is a professional athlete married to Spice Girls’ member Victoria. The group performed at last night’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, hence the justification for posting Ambrosio’s picture.
