I have written yesterday that the release of Microsoft Windows 7 has people thinking or deciding on skipping Windows Vista. Aside from the operating system, it is reported that consumers might also skip Microsoft Office 2007. Most of the users are still using Office 2003, as I have observed with so many users. They seem to be happy and content with the Office 2007 document converter.

Office 2010 is around the corner and users has the same thinking as that of Windows Vista and Windows 7 where they would rather skip Vista and wait for Windows 7.

Forrester has data which proves that users would likely skip Office 2007. The research is subscription based only but ZDNet has reported about this. One of the items include: “The poor economy has delayed MS Office 2007 upgrades, and Office 2010’s release next year means organizations that haven’t upgraded yet will likely skip Office 2007 entirely.”
