Slimmer Daly Looks to Regain Winning Form

John Day, banned from the PGA Tour for six months for bringing disrepute to the tour, held a press conference today, where he showed off his 60-pound slimmer physique and declared his intention to get back to his tournament winning ways.

Daly, who won the 1991 US Open and the 1995 British Open, had a surgical procedure that helped to go from 280 pounds to his current 220 pounds (the same weight at which he won the Open).

Daly has committed to playing several events on the European Tour while he waits for his PGA ban in end in June. Daly was banned after his arrest last fall in North Carolina for being drunk and disorderly.
