2009 Hopman Cup: Day 4

The Slovaks are dominating the Hopman Cup in Perth, Australia. Slovak Dominik Hrbaty upset American James Blake in a third set tie break, 6-3 4-6 7-6 (7/1). Both Dominik and Blake are past Hopman Cup winners.

Blake was a little aggressive on the court and racked up 62 unforced errors. He grew frustrated as the match continued and was even arguing with the chair umpire over a call.

The Slovaks also defeated the Australians and are in pole position to contest Friday’s final. Both Russia and France won their Group B ties and the winners of each group will contest Friday’s final.
