My god, is this the sneakiest Adsense placement you have ever seen or what. Ladies and Gentleman, I think we have a winner.

Click for a full size image so you can marvel at the sneakiness.

Nice! I can actually appreciate that its presentation is actually a somewhat original concept. Most people preach that you need to make your adsense look like the rest of the links on your web page. This design goes the total opposite direction. Make nothing resemble one another on your web page and confuse the heck out of your visitors into clicking on ads!

Check out this site that links the Google Ads into their header. How sneaky is that?

Very slick! While making Adsense adverts blend in with your site makes them more likely to be clicked, and interpersing them between other content is an old strategy this one takes them both to another level. I’m not surewhether to deplore the deceptiveness or applaud the ingenuity.

  4. The colors are nice, but what’s even more interesting to me is that if you hit “Refresh” .. the 3 ads are randomly being placed around in those 10 slots …

Sneaky (yes) but personally I don’t see anything that’s really wrong with this site = the ads are quite visibly displayed as an ad and, not in excess. I.M.O.(if you view source you only see “pub-” three times – isn’t that one of the criteria?)

I think any deceptiveness comes from relying on the fact that people are more likely to click on the category heading than pay attention to the small type addendum at the bottom corner of each “block”.
