Here’s a new service that looks to be useful and possibly depressing at the same time.

Vancouver-based MyProgress.com is focused on giving people a way to measure themselves against other people in areas such as:

- their success
- wealth
- experience

Now, if you score well against your peers, it’s reason to celebrate. If, on the other hand, you score badly and discover you’re a loser, that would suck.

After registering for MyProgress, my quick first impression is that it requires you to provide a lot of personal information. This not involves a lot of time but there are clearly privacy and security issues.
