The Business Channel contest is coming to an end. Tomorrow, April 20th is your last day to submit your comment for your entry. The prize a $25.00 Gift Card. Click here for more details. I wanted to share some of the entries that have come in over the last week. How about adding yours to this list:

Betty: “I wanted to be a nurse. I read all the usual teen-age stories about nurses and though it would be great until I discovered I had absolutely no aptitude for science! I turned to math and have enjoyed success in accounting and owning my own business. Oh, by the way, I get to brag that my daughter is a nurse.”

Adonna: “I remember when I was in 3rd grade, my teacher asked us to write an essay on the very same topic. I wrote I wanted to be an actor, singer, school teacher and a business woman (I envisioned carrying a briefcase). The reason my memory of this essay is so vivid is because that very teacher sent me the essay as a high school graduation present. Throughout my life I have managed to accomplish all on the list. It’s amazing to me if you have a vision for your life, God is faithful to complete.

Lori: “Wildlife photographer. Love the animals.”

Ashley: “I wanted to be a princess!”

Lucy: “I wanted to be the President.”

Vicki: “I wanted to be a model when I grew up.”

Catherine: “I wanted to be a mommy, a wife, and a teacher. I’m blessed because I’ve lived all my dreams.”

Cheryl: “Growing up all I wanted to be was a mom. I got my wish and raised a wonderful son. Now that he is an adult when I grow up I want to race motorcycles.”

Carissa: “I wanted to be a journalist of some sort and I ended up with degrees in public relations and sport management.”

Hazel: “When I was growing up I wanted to be a hair stylist, and would sit for hours styling my barbie’s hair. Then I wanted to be a veterinarian and then a forensic scientist. I could never decide!”

Lee: “When I was a kid I wanted to be a teacher and help kids learn. I finished my PhD a couple of years ago, have taught a number of university classes, and currently work publishing educational materials for kids.”

So, what did you want to be when you grow up? What are you waiting for? Add your dream and enter the contest!! I can’t wait to hear from you!
