So you want in the Halo 3 beta?

Here’s how. Gamerscore posted all the viable options one might have if they were looking to get themselves included in the beta.

While said options aren’t numerous in choice when it comes to things like this more than one is always better. Even if it is only two.

Specifically, gamers will be able to receive an invitation by doing one of the following:

· Qualifying over Xbox Live and then being one of the first 13,333 “Halo 2” gamers to register for the “Rule of Three” program at http://www.halo3.com in early February

· Purchasing the upcoming game “Crackdown™,” which hits store shelves in the U.S. on Feb. 20

So there you have it. You want in, that’s what you gotta do.

Of course…there are other options. You could always:

• Stake out Bungie HQ, kidnap some random person who comes out and demand a beta invite. Remember to actually play the beta before they arrest you. Otherwise the only beta you’ll be playing will involve soap, 3 big angry, lonely men and no one around to save your “game”.
• Find someone who managed to get in to the beta, break into their home, tie them up and play for them. Please be a considerate home invader though, let them watch
• Get your H4x on and secretly infiltrate your way into the Microsoft and Bungie computer systems and send yourself a beta invite.
• My personal favorite. Not worry about it, just wait for the final game to come out and play it then.
