I am finally beginning to see the pro-active aspect of e-mail marketing campaigns for myself, not just my clients. Blogging and all the other passive measures only get your product/service out there so far. E-mail campaigns step into the reader’s space and say, “Don’t forget us, we’re still here.” People may go for a few days or weeks without reading their feeds or checkng their favorite websites. It stands to reason, however, most people are going to check their e-mail. Social media is the new standard for advertising, so it only makes sense to integrate e-mail marketing with social media exposure.
