Social Media Job Hunting

Have you been looking for a employment but haven’t found one yet? Were you thinking about starting your own business online for extra income? Do you have an extensive and comprehensive knowledge of social media marketing or Web 2.0 tools? Then maybe you need to start your own social media job hunt to find an online job.
As many bloggers have realized, there is money in blogging about different topics from business to hobbies to sports or just about any topic you can think of. One of the keys to finding a social media job is to determine what you are skilled at and then see if you can find an online job to fit. Or you just might need to start your own business if you see a need that fits your skills.
To help you with your social media job hunting, I have included a few links below to online resources.
When I decided to become a paid blogger, I found it helpful to make a list of the things I was looking for in a blogging opportunity along with determining my special niche. If you haven’t taken the time yet, stop right now and create a list that will help you with your search. To help you get started, I have shared a basic checklist below:
- Define the scope of topic that you have a lot of knowledge in and feel comfortable writing about
- Determine the range of pay that you are willing to except for blogging. If you are new to blogging, you may need to start writing for free to get the experience you need for paying jobs.
- Detail your writing experience on your resume in case you are asked for it.
- Create online samples of our writing so that you can share with those who are considering you for writing jobs.
