Okay, I’ll brag. My 2007 taxes are done! I do use an accountant, but since I’ve added Quicken, it gets easier and easier. I might even try this myself next year.
Kelly Phillips is our TaxGirl here at b5 and she’s got a great post about the differences in tax software. It’s worth of read even if you’re only thinking about doing it yourself.

I found your site on technorati and read a few of your other posts. Keep up the good work. I just added your RSS feed to my Google News Reader. Looking forward to reading more from you.

This is a great link. One of the most daunting aspects of working as a freelancer is tax time. As I start my career in freelancing, I am trying to get off on a good footing as far as tax records are concerned. Any other recommendations you could offer a beginner regarding taxes would be more than welcome.
Your taxes are done? Really? That’s crazy efficient.
I’m working on mine now. Hopefully I’ll have them done in the next couple of weeks.
it does feel good to have them done ;)
