Sony USA Now Offers free PS3 with HDTV Purchase… With a Catch

Earlier this week, we mentioned that Sony was giving away a 40GB PS3 to anyone who purchased a Bravia HDTV. Catch was that you had to live in Australia to get it. Now Sony is bringing that goodness to the states, but with yet another catch. While you can buy a non-Bravia Sony HDTV, you must sign up for a SonyCard. So if you’ve got some money, a good credit line, and some time to read the fine print, signup for the card, purchase the HDTV, and you’ll get your PS3 free. Just make sure you can pay the TV off before you add to your possible debt.
