S.O.S. – Sonics outta Seattle

The Seattle Supersonics are no more. The organization has announced that the team will be moving to Oklahoma City. It’s really a shame. I hate to hear about teams that have moved cities, especially when you hear stories from diehard fans. Many fans tried to save the team, however, it did not work and now Seattle is without an NBA franchise for the first time in 41 years.

There are enough memories for Sonics fans to hold onto – like that one championship, remembering when Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton were dominant, and getting a glimpse of a future star in Kevin Durant.

Here’s to the Seattle basketball fan. Let your voice be heard one last time.
