Soup from the Housemartins and Beautiful South

A slightly more traditional online competition to promote the release of the ‘best of’ album Soup, songs from both the Housemartins and the Beautiful South. At Hull and Back, you get to play name that tune, giving you introductions to songs and you have to correctly identify them to win a prize. The prize is the usual, an iPod, but this time a Touch version. I’m slightly better at this one than the games. Both this and the Maccabees sites give you links to buy the music, in ITunes for the latter and Amazon for Soup. The Soup site has take it one step further and let’s you purchase ringtones from the site at the same time. At 3GBP each,, you can see why that market is proving far more valuable than the CD one.
