South Korean Olympians Get Engaged

I can’t even believe the irony of this story.  The two gold medal-winning archers from South Korea have gotten engaged.  It’s like cupid’s arrow has brought them together.  

Park Sung-hyun, who led the women’s team to a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics (she also took home the silver medal in the individual event), is set to marry Park Kyung-mo, 33, who also won the gold with his team (and the silver in the individual!).

Isn’t this one of the cutest Olympic stories ever???  Apparently, they fell in love while they were training for the Games and then surprised their teams and coaches with the happy news at a Beijing restaurant.
