Spiderman on Atari 2600 sucks, totally

It seems I’m stuck with the word suck till I actually play a good classic video game. Trouble is, I can’t find my Starcraft and Total Annihilation installers. Speaking of stuck, I’m also stuck watching videos of old games instead of playing them. Talk about a streak of bad luck.

Anyway, here I am searching for references to some old games I used to play when I came across a video on YouTube featuring Spiderman for the Atari 2600. My first thought: “Damn, it totally sucks!” There I go again with the word.

Well, go check it out and tell me it doesn’t … suck.

Frankly, the text-based Spiderman video game on my old Apple IIc is more exciting than this blocky version. I’m trying to block out thoughts that E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial looks and plays better than Spiderman for the Atari 2600.
