I am a recent graduate looking for my first teaching job and I can't even get an interview, much less a job offer. All of my fellow graduates have interviewed for at least one position (several for the same positions I've applied for), but I have not. I realize that a middling GPA does not help, but I've heard it doesn't really matter so much. Why haven't I even been interviewed yet? I actually have a question.
