I&#039;m curious, did you speak to any of your fellow students who have been offered jobs to see what worked for them?  In many cases teachers are promised jobs where they did their student teaching and I wonder if that played any part in the other students&#039; success.

		<description>I actually have a question.  I am a recent graduate looking for my first teaching job and I can&#039;t even get an interview, much less a job offer.  All of my fellow graduates have interviewed for at least one position (several for the same positions I&#039;ve applied for), but I have not.  I realize that a middling GPA does not help, but I&#039;ve heard it doesn&#039;t really matter so much.  Why haven&#039;t I even been interviewed yet?</description>
