The Spyker is not a car you see or hear of too often, unless you follow F1 racing. But it has one of the most impressive spec-sheet for its class. When it was unveiled at the New York City Auto Show on April 2, 2009, representatives explained that the C8 Aileron is somewhat of a Frankenstein of all the best racing cars combines.
The C8 Aileron features a completely redesigned all-aluminum space frame making it as light as possible. The suspension feature front and rear independent double-wishbones that are made by Lotus. The heart of the C8 Airleron is the famous Audi 4.2L V8 engine that can deliver an impressive 400bhp. In case you were wondering, with the 6-speed paddle transmission that means 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds! The C8 Aileron can also reach speeds of up to 187 mph (300.9 km/h).
