Square Enix Announces Kingdom Hearts 358/2 for North America
Well, this is some awesome news from Square Enix. They have finally announced that the next game in the Kingdom Hearts series will soon be available in the United States (and other North American countries: I’m looking at you Mexico and Canada. But I’m mostly looking at Canada). Kingdom Hearts 358/2 will be coming to the Nintendo DS.
Here’s the story on Kingdom Hearts 358/2:
Uncover the events that took place during the year Sora was asleep regaining his lost memories. KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days revolves around Roxas, the “other” hero from
KINGDOM HEARTS II, and his days as a member of Organization XIII. Follow Roxas and the rest of Organization XIII across the various Disney Worlds, and discover the connection between him, Sora, and the mysterious 14th member, and the reasons behind his eventual departure from the organization. KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days also features a multiplayer mode for the first time, allowing players to control their favorite Organization XIII members!
There hasn’t been a formal release date announced for Kingdom Hearts 358/2.
Oh, and not only was Kingdom Hearts 358/2 announced, they also have announced that Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories has been shipped to North American retailers, which is weird, because the game has been out in Japan since 2004 for the Gameboy Advanced. This release will apparently bridge the story gap between Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II for fans of Roxas and his Disney like friends. Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories is available for $29.99.
